Delivery Policy

Please make sure you fill out the Mattress King Delivery Agreement to ensure that you will have a safe and pleasant delivery experience. As a reminder, we will give you a general delivery time between 10am to 6pm at the time of purchase. Then we will call you the night before between 5pm to 7pm to give you a smaller three-hour window. (4 hours mountain and rural) You cannot request am or pm delivery unless you pay the additional express delivery fee of $89.00. Next day delivery after 2pm and Same Day delivery charges are also $89.00 (Denver metro only) or whatever is applicable to your delivery distance. If you are not home at the time of your scheduled delivery, you will have to setup a second delivery and will be charged an additional re-delivery fee.

Special Orders

If a customer decides to cancel special order merchandise, i.e. furniture or special sized mattresses Twin X-Long, Cal King, Waterbed Inserts and the product is in transit to the warehouse, there will be a 20% cancellation fee. There are no refunds on special orders once the product arrives at the warehouse.

Mattress Only

If the mattress is used alone (on a platform or otherwise) or with a non-compliant boxspring, there can be no guarantee that the mattress will pass the new open flame requirements set out at 16 CFR 1633. Floor models, discontinued or clearance items manufactured prior to July 1st 2007 may or may not pass the new open flame requirements set out at 16 CFR 1633.

Box Spring Only

The customer has purchased only a foundation/boxspring. Unless foundation/boxspring is used with a compliant mattress, there can be no guarantee that the boxspring in combination with the mattress will pass the new open flame requirements set out at 16 CFR 1633.

Low Profile Foundations

The customer will have a choice between a regular or low profile foundation at the time of his/her original purchase. If the regular or low profile foundation is out of it’s original plastic and needs to be substituted after it has been delivered or picked up, there will be a $150.00 restock charge, along with a $49.00 delivery fee. TO AVOID ADDITIONAL FEES, WE HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU MEASURE YOUR MATTRESS SET HEIGHT BEFORE DELIVERY OR PICK UP

45-Day Comfort Exchange Policy

Comfort exchanges will be permitted on any MATTRESS ONLY under the following terms:

• No exchange will be permitted until the customer has slept on their mattress for a minimum of 30 days.
• Any exchange must be for the SAME SIZE mattress only and must be exchanged at an equal or a greater value. Any advertised sale price does not apply to the new exchange.
• There are no exchanges of specialty size beds i.e. Twin X-Long, Cal King, Waterbed inserts.
• Any exchange between the 30 – 45 day periods will have a 10% exchange fee and an applicable re-delivery fee. ($89.00 metro area)
• No exchange will be permitted on any mattress that is soiled, torn, damaged or misused.
• ONLY ONE EXCHANGE PER CUSTOMER IS ALLOWED.

Refund Policy

There are NO REFUNDS on any product once the customer has received his/her merchandise. Any cancelation prior to delivery or pick up, please allow 10 to 14 business days to receive a refund check. (There are no refunds at store level) Floor models, Special Ordered Furniture (Wood or metal), special sized products, (antique, waterbed inserts, XL, etc.) adjustable bases, pillows, mattress protectors and frame sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Warranty on a Mattress

The customer must be the original owner and have the original receipt in order to process a warranty. There is a minimum $89.00 delivery charge for any customer who has an approved warranty exchange by the manufacture (mattress only). The customer does have to the option of picking up the merchandise from the manufacture as long as the product is not soiled or damaged. Warranty decisions are made by the manufacturer, not by Mattress King or its employees.
